Mary A. Broad

Mary A. Broad, 83, of Findlay, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023. She was born on December 25, 1939 in Oak Harbor, Ohio to the late Raymond and Elizabeth (Barborich) Kreager. She married Larry Robert Eaton, and he passed away in 1963. She then married Philip Broad, and he passed in 2017.

Mary attended Fremont High School and was a full-time homemaker. She moved to Findlay in 1967 when Phil transferred to Whirlpool. They enjoyed making and selling crafts together. Phil would make them in his woodshop for family and friends and to sell in craft shows. Mary was a lifelong dog lover, training each dog they had into wonderful family pets. Mary especially loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as they brought her great joy.

Mary is survived by son, Dan (Lori) Eaton and their children: Clay Eaton, Logan (Michelle) Eaton, Malynn (Garrett) Simpson, and Miranda Eaton; son, Lonnie (Harriet) Eaton and their children: Megan Eaton, Doug (Rachel) Stapely, Denver Conley; Richel Duran, and Abby Brosnick; son, Randy Broad; son Bo (Michelle) Broad and their children: Luke (Ashley) Erwin, Brittany Broad, and Dylan Broad; daughter, Robin (Dean) Glick and her children: Casey (Sydney) Glick, Cory (Randi) Glick, Cody (McKenzie) Glick, Chase Glick, and Ashley (Nicholas) Brooks; 26 great-grandchildren; and her favorite sidekick, Dora. Mary is also survived by sisters, Barbara McNelly, Helen Bartson, Dorothy Hoffman, and Rita Barborich. Her brother Raymond Kreager, Jr. is deceased.

Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held following visitation at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Shane Helms officiating.
