Michael D. Dunn, Sr.

Michael Drew Dunn, Sr., of Mt. Blanchard, passed away unexpectedly Friday, 13, 2024, at the age of 32.

He was born to Paul and Jodi (Chitwood) Dunn Jr. on February 12, 1992, in Goldsboro, North Carolina.

Michael loved his children immensely. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed watching basketball, UFC, MMA, cooking, nature and traveling. He even had a love for the Lord.

Michael is survived by his mother, Jodi; his beloved children, Lareina Grace, Michael Drew Jr., Erastus Emanuel, Tamara Lynn, A’Miyah Liani, Anthony Lashawn, Za’Niyah LaRee, and Tayvion Jamere; his fiance, Teayra LeMeree Carver; siblings, Michelle Dunn of Forest, Natasha Dunn of Findlay, Bailey Maier of Wichita, KS, and Ben Maier of Wichita, KS. He is also survived by his grandparents, Darlean and John Chitwood Sr; grandmother, Sarah Mize; uncle and aunt, John (Judith) Chitwood Jr; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition, he is survived by his ex-partner, Laura Abigail Smith.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Paul Leroy Dunn Jr; grandparents, Ralph and Marcille Guear; and grandfather, Paul Leroy Dunn Sr.
