Michael Griffith

Michael Griffith, 67, of Findlay, passed away peacefully January 23, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, with his loving family beside him.

He was born September 29, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Hugh Bert and Mary Lou (Wawrzyniak) Griffith. In 2004, Michael married Barbara Washington, and she survives.

Michael was a Nordonia High School graduate and attended The University of Findlay to earn his associate degree. He worked at Cooper Tire and Rubber Company where he served as a steel worker for 33 years before retiring. He was a lifetime member of United Steel Workers Local 207.

Michael is survived by his wife of 20 years, Barbara; children, Joshua (Cherie) Griffith, Jessica (Brandon) Fought, and E.J (Jessica) Washington; four beloved grandchildren, Oliver Griffith, Scarlett Banfield, Sawyer Banfield, Gideon Fought, Elizah Washington, and Jalen Washington; and one great-grandson, Karter. In addition, he is survived by four sisters, Maureen Griffith, Deborah Griffith, Carol Griffith, and Kimberly Giffith.

The family is planning a celebration of life gathering in the Spring. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with arrangements.
