Michael E. Pixley

Michael E. Pixley, 62, of Fostoria, passed away peacefully at Bridge Hospice Care Center surrounded by his loving family Saturday, October 11, 2025.

He was born in Findlay on February 22, 1963, to the late James and Lottie (Donaldson) Pixley.

Michael attended North Baltimore Highschool graduating in 1982. Following his graduation, Michael worked at a few factories and helped a friend out on a hog farm before recently retiring from OSS (Operational Support Services).

During his life Michael was an avid fan of the Detroit Lions and Michigan Wolverines, “GO Blue”. In his free time, he also enjoyed going to sprint car races on the weekends, along with hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by his uncles, Harold and Charlie Donaldson.

Michael is survived by his son, Cody Pixley of Port Charlotte, FL; daughter, Alyssa (Pat) Patterson of Findlay; brother, James (Kandy) Pixley of Cygnet; grandson, Rowan Patterson; uncle, Roy (Janet) Donaldson; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Per the family’s wishes, there will be no public services held for Michael. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500) is honored to serve Michael’s family.

Memorial contributions in Michael's name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
