Mildred L. Leasure

Mildred L. Leasure, 85, of Findlay, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, August 23, 2019 at Fox Run Manor. Millie was born on October 11, 1933 in Scottsburg, Indiana to the late William and Mabel (Sommerville) Gonyer. Millie worked as a cook for many years. On June 2, 1975 she married Cecil Leasure. Millie was a member of Upper Room Church of God and enjoyed gospel music, cooking, crafts and sewing. Mildred is survived by her husband of 44 years; daughter, Shelly Schroeder; two grandchildren, Lowell Schroeder and Jennica (Lawrence) Harmes; several great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mae Miller. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mildred was preceded in death by her sisters, Lois Clark, Donna Sharp, Barb Frisbie, and Janet Sue Gonyer. Friends and family may visit on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 from 2 – 4 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A Celebration of Mildred's life will follow at 4 p.m. with Pastor Price officiating. Memorial contributions in Mildred's name may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice or to Cancer Patient Services.
