Nancy Nims

Nancy Nims, 81, of Findlay, died Tuesday, October 11, 2022. She was born on October 28, 1940 in Bluffton, Indiana to Arthur and Marjorie (Templin) Neuenschwander. She married Mason Nims on September 25, 1964.

Nancy was a member of the Millstream Rhythm Band at 50 North Senior Center, and First United Brethren Church in Findlay. She liked crocheting, plastic canvas weaving, reading and listening to southern gospel music, especially Elvis, the Gaithers and Guy Penrod.

Nancy is survived by her children, Gary Nims of North Baltimore and Susan Nims of Findlay; a sister, Ann Webb of Missouri; nieces, Cyndie (Parker) Thomas, Lisa Klepper, Wendy (Scott) Ewing, Charis (Jim) Elliot; and a nephew David (Cheryl) Nims. She also loved her grandpups, Shadow, Shokra, Destiny, and Comet. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son, Gregory Nims.

Friends and family may visit from1:00-3:00 p.m. and 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 14, 2022 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 15 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Knollcrest Cemetery.
