Nellie Decker

Nellie M. Decker, 83, of Arlington, passed away December 1, 2024, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay.

She was born in Findlay to Marion and Margaret (Pearsall) Clymer on April 22, 1941.

Nellie was a 1959 graduate of Liberty-Benton High School. She married Jimmy Decker, Sr. on April 4, 1961. She retired from RCA, after working there for 42 years. She was a member of Houcktown Methodist Church. She liked to garden, and loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren. Nellie was loved by many and loved the Lord.

Those left behind to cherish Nellie’s memory are her husband; children, Cheryl Kimmell, Jimmy "JD" Decker, Jr., Darryl (Karmane) Decker, Timmy (Lori) Decker; 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, along with many extended grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Bud (Judi) Clymer, Marion (Kay) Clymer, Margaret Rose Clymer, Mary Jane (Claude) Mathers, Sara (Robert) Duffy.

In addition to her parents, Nellie was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Sarah Decker; son-in-law, Michael Kimmell; daughter-in-law, Sandra Decker; and brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Sharon Clymer.

Friends and family may visit from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2024, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay, (419-422-1500). Funeral service for Nellie will be Friday, December 6, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow in Benton Ridge Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in Nellie’s name may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
