Patricia J. Bauman

Patty J. Bauman, 62, of rural Rawson, passed away Easter morning at Blanchard Valley Bridge Hospice. Patty was born on February 23, 1955, the third of four daughters born to Ray F. and M. Evalyn Bauman. She was a graduate of Cory-Rawson High School and attended Owens Technical College, receiving her Associate's Degree in Food Service and studied bookkeeping at Findlay College. Patty worked as bookkeeper at Brinkman's Farm, Arlington, for the past 20 years. Patty is survived by her parents; her older sister, Rebecca (Ric) Herrold of Toledo, Ohio; and her younger sister, Kathleen Lawson of Hilliard, Ohio. She is also survived by her special cousin, Pamela (Steve) Rettig of Rawson, Ohio. Patty was preceded in death by her sister, Margery Quinland. Patty found great delight in her nieces and nephews; Dhakirah (Tasmin) Hamin, daughter and son, of Miami, Florida; Stedroy Quinland, and Ray J. Quinland of Atlanta, Georgia; Derek (Julie) Lawson and sons, of Hinckley, Ohio; and Natalie Lawson and daughter of Marion, Ohio. Patty enjoyed flowers, gardening, decorating, cooking, and especially her many cats, and sharing all of those with her family and friends. She was a longtime member of Hoe'n Hope Garden Club. Friends and family are welcome to attend a graveside service on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery near Arlington. The Reverend Thomas Frey will officiate. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Patty's name can be made to the Hancock County Humane Society.
