Patrick J. Howaniec

Patrick John Howaniec, 69, of Findlay, passed away May 14, 2025, at his residence.

He was born November 10, 1955, in Evergreen Park, Illinois to John and Dolores (Moskal) Howaniec.

Patrick was an avid outdoors man who loved nature, photography, planting flowers and gardening, cooking, and mountain biking. He was a master of drywall and finishing and spent many years self-employed.

Patrick is survived by his mother, Dolores of Kankakee, IL; his brothers and sister, Rick (Joan) Howaniec of Kankakee, IL, Don (Lita) Howaniec of Indianapolis, IN, Sue (Preston) Medrano of Chicago, IL, and John Howaniec of Woodland, IL; and seventeen nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, John, and brother, Raymond Howaniec.

Per the family’s request, there will be no funeral service. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with arrangements.
