Paul M. Bugbee, 66, of Findlay, passed peacefully Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Blanchard Valley Hospital surrounded by his family and friends. He was born September 15, 1950 to the late Paul H. Bugbee and Dolores (Weyandt) Drabik who survives.
Paul was a life member of AMVETS. He loved the Detroit Tigers, golfing, and traveling west to visit family, friends, and hit the casinos. He enjoyed a variety of music, especially rock & roll and big band. Paul retired from Chrysler after 30 years and worked part-time as a delivery driver for Ohio Automotive. He proudly served in the Air National Guard in the 180th Tactical Fighter Group as Sargent from 1969- 1975 before being honorably discharged.
Paul is survived by his wife of 27 years, Marilyn Bugbee; his 3 sons, Jon Bugbee, Joe Bugbee, and Jason Richey; favorite daughter, Heather Essinger (Ken Mosher); grandsons, Jody, Tyler, and Spencer Richey, Austin Essinger (Jazmine Waller); granddaughters, Madison, and Evelyn Essinger. He is also survived by brothers, Jerry (Sharon) Bugbee, Mark (Donna) Bugbee; sisters, Janet Paquette, Sandy Drabik-Collins, Cindy (Frank) McFarland; many nieces and nephews and a lot of friends. Paul was preceded in death by step-father, Art Drabik; niece, Allison Badgley; and brother-in-law, D. Michael Collins.
Friends and family may visit on Sunday, September 25, 2016 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 4 p.m. at the conclusion of visitation with Msgr. Mike Hohenbrink officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Michael the Archangel School Educational Foundation, 750 Bright Rd., Findlay, Ohio 45840 or a charity of the donor's choice. The Hancock County Veteran's Memorial Squad will perform full military rites.
