Paul A. Huff, 97, of Fostoria, peacefully passed away September 12, 2024, at Briar Hill Health Campus in North Baltimore.
He was born April 9, 1927, in Bloomdale, Ohio, to Roy M. and Ethel V. (Geren) Huff. Paul was united in marriage on August 18, 1949, to his true love, Georgia A. Carpenter. This union of 69 years was blessed with three children.
Paul attended Arcadia High School. He enlisted into the United States Navy at the age of 17 during World War II. He was honorably discharged and returned home. Paul worked at Atlas Crankshaft and retired after 30 years of service.
Paul is survived by his children, Michael R. (Cindy) Huff of Tiffin, OH, and Sharon K. Benda of Angola, IN; six grandchildren, Amber (Steve) Morris, Kristy (Russ) Teegardin, Amanda Conley, Gregory Watkins, Megan (Dan) Rarick, and Joshua (Amy) Huff; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents Roy and Ethel, and his loving wife, Georgia, Paul was preceded in death by his son, Stephen J. Huff; grandson, Kory Conley; brother, Basil Huff; sisters, Naomi Reinhard, and Ruth Brooks; and son-in-law, Alan Benda.
Friends and family may visit from 10 – 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500). Paul’s funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. following visitation in the funeral home with Russell Teegardin officiating. Interment will follow in Bechtel Cemetery, Van Buren, OH, with the Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad conducting military rites.
