Paul W. Ludwig

Paul Wayne Ludwig, 78, of Mount Cory, Ohio, passed away Friday, August 11, 2017 at Bridge Hospice Care Center. He was born to the late Paul M. and Bernice V. (Painter) Ludwig on October 20, 1938 in Bluffton, Ohio. Paul married Jean Brown and they divorced, he then married Sharon Williams and she preceded him in death, he married Mary Himes and they later divorced. Paul proudly served his country in the US Marines from 1953 - 1957 before being honorably discharged. He enjoyed going to church and spending time with his pets. Paul is survived by his children, Debra (Dave) Norberg, Paul D. Ludwig, Timothy Ludwig, Donald (Rebecca) Ludwig, and Danny (Ashley) Himes; grandchildren, Monica, James, Shailyne, Justinea, Nicholas, Mary, Ethen, Chasity, Donald Paul, Abihlinn, Leah, Kai; and 15 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Kay Eileen Breitigam, Russell (Mary Ellen) Ludwig, Robert Ludwig, and James Ludwig. Paul was preceded in death by a grandchild, Michael Ludwig, sister-in-law, M. Carol Ludwig; and a niece, Monna Smith. Friends and family may visit on Thursday, August 17 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. at the conclusion of visitation at the funeral home with Pastor Michael Spann officiating. Interment will follow in Hasson Cemetery with the Hancock County Veteran's Memorial Squad performing full military rites.
