Paul E. Rehus

Paul E. Rehus, 81, of Findlay, passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side on January 24, 2020 in the comfort of his home. He was born January 28, 1938 in Hoytville, OH, the son of the late Paul and Geraldine B. (Shaffer) Rehus. On December 4, 1965, Paul and Darlene Kagy were united in marriage.

Paul was a Van Buren High School graduate. He went on to attend Terra Community College where he received an Associate’s degree. Paul was a lifetime farmer, a former Millstream Farmers 4-H Advisor for over 25 years, and former Senior Fair Board member and past member of the Columbia Sheep Association.

Paul is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Darlene; sons, Darrin (Karrie) Rehus and Mark (Nila) Rehus; daughters, Paula (Greg) Birkmire, Jody (Bob) Hertel, and Lori (Chris) Nagy. He was blessed with 20 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Paul is also survived by his brother, Gene Rehus of Florida.

Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services for Paul will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 30th in the funeral home with Pastor Ben Lowell officiating. Interment will follow in Ten Mile (Bethel) Cemetery, Township Road 139. Memorial contributions in Paul’s memory may be made to Hancock County Ag Society, 1017 E. Sandusky St., Findlay, Ohio 45840.
