Peggy A. (Cherry) Wilson

Peggy Ann Wilson, 81, of Findlay, passed away peacefully at Bridge Hospice Care Center on Tuesday, July 6, 2021. She was born in Bluffton on May 23, 1940 to the late Roy and Irene (Mason) Cherry. Peggy was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Peggy is survived by her son, Dennis Wilson of Inverness, FL; daughter, Billie Jo (Bryan) Tallman of Jacksonville, FL; five grandchildren, Jamie (Joe) Hartman, Alyssa Wilson, Aaron Daniels, Kendra Wilson, and Steven (Bre) Neely; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition, surviving are stepdaughter, Lynn (Ed) Parkins of Mt. Cory; and stepson, Mark (Cathy) Wilson of Findlay. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dow Owen Wilson in 2011; stepson, Roger Joe Wilson; brothers, Kenny Cherry, Ted Cherry; and sister, Roiene Mathers.

Friends and family may visit from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services will begin in the funeral home at 2 p.m. with Pastor Herb Koonce officiating. Interment will follow in Benton Ridge Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Peggy’s name may be made to Trinity Baptist Church, 7839 County Road 236, Findlay, Ohio 45840.
