Peggy A. Ireland

Peggy A. Ireland, 69, of Findlay, died Monday, October 24, 2022. She was born on September 30, 1953 in Findlay to Virgel and Lula (Ewers) Ireland.

Peggy retired from Graham Packaging. She loved playing bingo, cheering on The Ohio State Buckeyes and was a member of the Elvis Presley Fan Club.

Peggy is survived by her two sons, Michael (Teresa) Laytart and Zach Muzy; brothers, Ray Ireland and Roth Ireland; sister, LuAnne Muzy; friend who was like a sister, Betty Sims and her daughter, Tammy Monday; four grandchildren, Mariah Vanhoose, Jay Peterson, Cameo Jacobs, and Daniel Laytart; great-granddaughter, Genevieve Vanhoose; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Bob Young; sister, Geannie Chilcote; and brother-in-law, Mark Muzy.

Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2022, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of visitation. Memorial contributions in Peggy’s name may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
