Peggy Mathias

Peggy Ann Mathias, 70, of Fostoria, passed away November 30, 2024, at Birchaven Village.

She was born in Fostoria to Howard and Wanda (Wehrle) Himes on January 5, 1954.

Peggy was a graduate of Elmwood High School. She was a lifetime member of Fostoria Amvets and Eagles.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are children, Miranda (Daniel) Wildman and Angela Doerfer, both of Fostoria; brothers, Don Himes, Robert Himes, Harold Himes; sisters, Karen Cooper, Cynthia Pruett, Earlene Shock; grandchildren, Madison Doerfer, Savannah Doerfer, Sierra (Jocelyn) Rayle, Zachary Doerfer, Dakohta (Jordan) Salyers; and great-grandchildren, Serenity Gillen and Oakley Rayle.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur (Bill) Doerfer; brothers, John Himes and Michael Himes; sister, Linda Himes.

There will be no services. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay, 419-422-1500 is honored to serve Peggy’s family.
