Randy L. Howard

Randy Lee Howard, 75, of Findlay, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024, at Birchaven Village.

Randy was born March 15, 1949, in Clovis, New Mexico to James and Nola Frances (Maize) Howard. On May 21, 1967, Randy married Kathy Hottinger, and she survives.

In addition to Kathy, he is also survived by his two daughters, Lori Howard-McCool of Thornton, Colorado, and Nissa Howard (David Stevens) of Columbus, Ohio; six grandchildren, Shane Howard (Taylor) of Carey, Jack and Seamus McCool, both of Thornton, CO, Shelby (Abby) Howard of Lewis Center, Ohio, Mia and Kendall Howard-Stevens, both of Columbus; and great-grandson Sasha Howard of Lewis Center.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Jerry, Bob, Frank and Bill Howard, and sister Thelma Hawkins.

Randy was an avid reader, loved libraries and quiet times with a good book, music, and being in nature. He is fondly remembered for his kindness, compassion, and comedic wit. His smile, laughter and freedom to let loose and dance to the music will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Randy's life will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 10 a.m.– 12 noon at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500).

This is intended to be a celebration with no formal dress code, come dressed as you like, casual dress is perfectly acceptable.
