Rebecca Sue (McCoy) Potter, 66, of Findlay, passed away peacefully at Bridge Hospice Care Center on August 17, 2021. She was born August 13, 1955 in Findlay to the late James and Gladys (Mohr) McCoy.
Rebecca was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved being a stay-at-home mom caring for her three children and was known by her family as a “Domestic Goddess.” She was a huge NASCAR Kyle Larson fan and a dirt track racing fan for 61 years. Rebecca enjoyed traveling with her husband to a wide variety of destinations.
Rebecca is survived by her loving husband Phillip R. Potter; two sons, James Cooper of Reno, NV, and Noah Williams of McFarland, WI; and a daughter, Sarah Williams of Middleton, WI; nine grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. In addition, she is also survived by her brother, Ben McCoy of Findlay; and a sister, Winnie Saum of North Baltimore. Rebecca was preceded in death by a daughter, Monica Sue Williams; and sister, Brenda McCoy.
Friends and family may visit from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A Memorial Service will begin at 2 p.m. following visitation in the funeral home with Pastor Bill Best officiating. The family request you wear a mask while attending services.
