Richard A. Karn

Richard Anthony Karn, 49, of Fostoria, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Fostoria Community Hospital. He was born on July 11, 1970 in Findlay to Richard D. Karn and Maryann (Baird) Monday. On May 1, 1992, Richard married Tammy Kleman and she survives.

He was employed for two years at Morgan Carbon in Fostoria.

Richard is survived by his wife of 27 years, Tammy; his mother, Maryann (Dan) Monday; two sons, Richard A. Karn, and Mykey J. Karn, both of Fostoria; daughter, Heather M. (Ben Mettke) Karn of Fostoria; and was blessed with two grandchildren, Zachery and Braylee Mettke. He is also survived by his brothers, Rob Karn of Fostoria, Jim Stimmel of Muskogee, OK, Lee Raber of Lima, and Tim Stimmel of Findlay; sisters, Beth Watson of Tennessee, Sissy Karn of Findlay, Patty Stimmel-Rush of Carey, and Gina Raber of Tampa, FL. Richard was preceded in death by his father; step-father, Bill Stimmel Sr.; brother, Bill Stimmel Jr.; grandfather, Ralph Baird; grandfather and grandmother, Albert and LeLa (Reynolds) Karn.

Friends and family may visit Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 20th in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. Interment will follow in Knollcrest Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Richard’s name may be made to Hufford Family Funeral Home.
