Richard D Meeks

Richard Dean Meeks, 70, of Findlay, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020 at his residence. He was born November 17, 1949 in Kendallville, Indiana to the late William K. and Thelma B., (Golz) Meeks. Richard was a 1967 Findlay High School graduate. He was a member of the Joyce Meyer’s Ministry and enjoyed reading the Bible. Richard also enjoyed Classic cars, listening to music and was a member of Fort Findlay Playhouse. His greatest joy was family gatherings and loved his furry friend, Daisy Mae.

Richard is survived by his son, R. Bryan Meeks of Boulder, CO; daughters, Emily K. Meeks of Bowling Green, OH, Danielle (Frank) Meeks Noland of Indiana; grandchildren, Kassandra Girdler, and Jonathan Baxter. He is also survived by his brother, Ronald (Frances) Meeks of Findlay; sister, Edith (John) Riding Wadsworth; and first wife, Sandra West of Loveland, CO. Richard was preceded in death by a brother, William Meeks.

A memorial service for Richard will be planned at a later date. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contributions in Richard’s memory may be made to First Lutheran Church, 109 E. Lincoln St. Findlay, Ohio 45840.
