Richard W. Renfro

Richard Wayne Renfro, 72, of Findlay, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Blanchard Valley Hospital.  He was born May 25, 1950, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, to Charles and Betty (Padberg) Renfro. On June 27, 1970, Richard, and Jean E. (Smith) were united in marriage. In this marriage, they were blessed with two sons.

Richard graduated high school and attended Lake Michigan College where he earned an associate degree. He worked at Whirlpool and retired after 43 years of service. Richard was an avid outdoorsman, who loved fishing, hunting, feeding the birds and squirrels. He was a member of the Findlay Eagles and loved all things technology. Above all, Richard loved his family, especially his sons.

Richard is survived by his loving wife Jean, of 52 years; two sons, Jason M. Renfro and Kyle W. (Melissa) Renfro, both of Findlay; his mother, Betty Renfro; one sister, Paula Renfro of Coloma, Michigan; niece, Amy (Nathan) Koffler of Portage, Michigan; great-niece, Hannah; and great-nephew, Sam Koffler, both of Portage, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Renfro.

At his request, no formal services will be held. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contributions in Richard’s name may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
