Rita Mason

Rita L. Mason, age 74, died Thursday, February 2, 2023, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. She was born in Lima on October 9, 1948 to Edward and Mary (Tabler) Bruin.

Rita is survived by her son, Edward (Terri) Mason; her daughters, Stephanie Vasquez and Teresa Nguyen; brother, James (Linda) Bruin; sister, Kathleen Williams; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother and father; husband, Clarence Mason; and brother, Dennis Bruin.

Rita loved arts and crafts, especially making quilts. She enjoyed watching cooking shows and spending time with her cat, Tic-Tic. She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church and attended school there. She was a nurse’s aide for 20 years and liked caring for people.
