Ritchie A. Nielson

Ritchie A. Nielson Jr, 43, of Findlay, passed away at his residence, Thursday, July 2, 2026.

He was born on December 17, 1982, in Iroquois, Illinois, to Ritchie and Denise (Glowezewski) Nielson Sr.

Ritchie was a member of the United States Army, CIT (Crisis Intervention Training), VA (Veterans Affairs), VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars), and Guitars for Vets.

Those left behind to cherish Ritchie’s memory are his mother; ex-wife, Katherine Nielson; children, Addalynn Nielson, Landen Nielson; stepchildren, Mackenzie Schimmoeller, Ethan Schimmoeller, Brittany (Chris) Creekman; grandchildren, Steven Creekman, Hunter Creekman; siblings, Dan Lesniewski, Dawn Nielson; niece, Brittany (DJ) Pogan, and nephew, John Foley III.

Ritchie was preceded in death by his father; uncle, Edward Nielson; and nephew, Benjamin Wallen.

Friends and family may visit from 3-6 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2026, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500), with a funeral service and full military honors following.
