Ritchie A. Nielson Sr.

Ritchie Alvin Nielson Sr., 72, of Pandora, Ohio, peacefully passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Hilty Home, Pandora. He was born December 29, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois to the late George and Ann M. (Eliason) Nielson. Ritchie married Denise Glowczewski and she survives him in Bowling Green, Ohio; also survived by his children, Dan Lesniewski, Ritchie Nielson, Jimmy (Pegg) Walton, Dawn Miller, Christine Kocibal; 12 grandchildren, Jordan, Daniel, Jay, Brittany, Landen, Britt, Addalynn, Mackenzie, Ethan, Ben, Jen and Brandy; and 3 great-grandchildren, Elijah Pogan, Braelyn and Avereigh Barrett. He is also survived by brother, Ed Nielson; sister, Sandy Marks; and daughters-in-law, Katie Nielson and Julie Foley. Ritchie was preceded in death by a grandson, Caleb Nielson. Ritchie proudly served his country in the U. S. Army during Vietnam from 1965 - 1968 before being honorably discharged. He dedicated 20 years as IT Administrator at Best Buy before retiring. Ritchie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and will be dearly missed by all. Friends and family may visit on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500).
