Robert J. Barber, Jr.

Robert Jay Barber, Jr., of Findlay, surrounded by his loving family, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Blanchard Valley Hospital at the age of 47.

Robert was born September 18, 1976, in Findlay, to Robert Barber Sr. and Viola (Parsons) Barber. On April 15, 2000, Robert married Gigi Judy and they’ve shared 23 wonderful years together.

Robert was a Vanlue High School graduate. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Robert was known to enjoy a good bourbon with family and friends and had a great collection of guns.

Those left behind to cherish Robert’s memory are his parents, Robert (Brenda), and Viola Barber; his loving children, Myranda Porter, Destiny (Barber) Sanchez (spouse, Jose), Miracle Barber, and Trinity Barber; three beloved grandchildren, Angelica Sanchez, Elaina Sanchez, and Jose Ryder Sanchez. In addition, he is also survived by two siblings, Kristy Bartram (spouse, James), and Jeffery Barber.

Robert was preceded in death by his grandmother, Judy Sensabaugh.

Friends and family may visit Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, 419-422-1500. Robert’s funeral will follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Alfred De La Cruz presiding.
