Robert A. Dockery

Robert Allen Dockery, 76, of Findlay, passed away October 19, 2024, at his residence. He was born January 2, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois to Lawrence and Lola (Koerting) Dockery. Robert married the love of his life Brigitte I. Suhay on July 8, 1972, and they spent 41 years together until her passing in 2014.

Robert loved his hometown Chicago and closely followed the Cubs and Da Bears. He was known for his humor and had many dear friends that he stayed in touch with for decades. Robert enjoyed classic movies and music, especially Jazz. Most of all, he loved his family.

He is survived by his children, Susanne (Ron) Cameron, Michael Dockery (Wen-chi Yang), and Emily Dockery (Curtis Haire); sister, Donna Dockery; and sister-in-law, Elizabeth Galvan.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, Larry Dockery. There will be a private memorial service on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.
