Rosemary E. Heck

Rosemary Ellen Heck, 78, of Findlay, passed peacefully at her home with her family present, January 15, 2022. She was born in Findlay on August 13, 1943, the daughter of the late Raedel A. (Buckingham) and Russell S. Bishop.

Rosemary spent her childhood years growing up on a farm in Jackson Township, Hancock County, Ohio and in 1961, she graduated Class Salutatorian from Arlington High School. She also attended Bowling Green State University.

In later years, the time she spent with her children and grandchildren is what she cherished to the utmost. She also enjoyed her flower gardens, flower arranging, and being home.

Rosemary leaves behind her loving husband, Ronald G. Heck, who she married on June 1, 1962, along with two children: son, Jason K. (Lyndsay) Heck of Findlay, daughter, Alexandra K. (Troy) Zmuda of Toledo; blessed with three grandchildren, Piper A. Stewart of Bowling Green, Jack E. Zmuda, and Summer Casey Raedel Zmuda, both of Toledo. She is also survived by her brothers, William E. Bishop of Findlay, Mark E. Bishop of Findlay, Roger E. Bishop of Arlington; and one sister, Julia E. Peters of Cincinnati. Rosemary was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy E. Young, and Cynthia E. Borer.

Friends and family may visit Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services for Rosemary will begin at 4 p.m. following visitation in the funeral home with Pastor Ron Merritt officiating. Her remains will be interred in the family plot at the Van Horn Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Rosemary’s name may be made to West Ohio Food Bank, 1380 East Kibby St., P. O.
