Ruby “Bonnie” Snively Shock, 89, of Findlay, peacefully passed away Thursday morning, August 31, 2017 in her home. She was born on April 28, 1928 in Alvada, Ohio to the late Paul and Jessie M. (Oiler) Pressler. Bonnie married the late John Bergman, and was subsequently married to Russell Snively who preceded her in death.
Bonnie was devoted to her family and those less fortunate. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and her pets.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Sheila Perkins of Findlay, OH; son, Steve Bergman of Alexandria, VA; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Elenor Grose of Bluffton, OH. Ruby was also preceded in death by 2 daughters, Janice and Janet Bergman.
Friends and family may visit her on Monday, September 4, 2017 from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church, 7839 Co. Rd. 236, Findlay, Ohio 45840. A funeral service will conclude after visitation at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Michael Spann officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
