Ruth E. Bayless

Ruth E. Bayless was welcomed home August 13, 2025. She was born on February 18, 1929, in Jacksonville, Ohio, to Clarence and Mildred (Norviel) Deal.

Ruth was a homemaker and cared for her family. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Ruth helped shape many lives and we are forever grateful to have been blessed with such a beautiful soul.

Richard and Ruth participated in Mission Possible and traveled to Haiti in the 1980s and 1990s. She loved the Lord and was motivated by her faith and willingness to serve.

Ruth is survived by three stepchildren, Linda, Ruth, and Guana; seven grandchildren, Leslie Deal, JoAnna (Tim) Shaffer, Amy Baumunk, Jessica (Dave) Foltz, Mark Bayless, Roxanne Luplow, and Kent Bayless; 16 great-grandchildren, and 32 great-great-grandchildren. In addition, she is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents; 2 children, Terry L. Deal Sr., and Mary E. Baumunk; grandson, Terry Deal Jr.; great-granddaughter, Ashley; and her great-great-grandson, Elijah.

Friends and family may visit from 1 – 3 p.m. Friday, August 22, 2025, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500). Funeral service for Ruth will follow visitation at 3 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Joel Johnson officiating.
