Ruth E. Benjamin

Ruth Eleanor Benjamin, 79, of Findlay, entered eternal rest on Saturday, February 19, 2022. She was born March 20, 1942, in Fombell, Pennsylvania to King R. and Daisybelle (Bowser) Nye.

Ruth graduated from Lincoln High School in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania in 1960. Five years later, she married her soulmate of 44 years, William M. Benjamin, until his passing. She was an assembler at RCA and retired after 25 years of service. Ruth enjoyed cooking, shopping, playing cards, and babysitting. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She loved watching them grow up and cherished every moment she had with them.

Left to cherish Ruth’s memory are her two sons, William (Lori) Benjamin, and Robert (Pamela) Benjamin, both of Findlay; six beloved grandchildren, Katie Benjamin of Attica, Chelsey (Alyssa) Webner of Findlay, Kayla (Bradley) Sealey of Findlay, Kevin (Nicole) Stock of Findlay, Derek (Audrey) Stock of Findlay, and Jordan (Cassidy) Stock of Findlay; and six great-grandchildren, Olivia, Lincoln, Rhett, Henry, Mila, and Roman; brother, John (Barbara) Nye of Avon Park, Florida; and sister, Margaret Young of Mt. Blanchard. In addition to her parents, King and Daisybell, and her husband, William, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Nye; sister, Frances Bosley; brothers-in-law, Darold Young, Ocey Bosley; and sister-in-law, Roslyn Nye.

Friends and family may visit Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 4 – 8 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). Funeral services will be held Friday, February 25th at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Tim Bash officiating. Interment will follow in Knollcrest Cemetery.
