Ruth E. Smith

Ruth Elizabeth Smith, 63, of Findlay, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Bridge Hospice Care Center. She was born in Findlay on January 6, 1958 to the late Harold F. and Ruth P. (Sampson) Smith. Ruth worked for the Blanchard Valley Health System for 15 years as a phone operator. She was also a member of the Upper Room Church of God.

Ruth is survived by her brothers, Dale H. Smith, Charles E. Smith; sister, Nettie King; half-brother, Billy Smith; and half-sister, Dolly Smith. She is also survived by an uncle, Dick Sampson; cousin, Greg Sampson; 10 nieces and nephews; and 13 great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by stepfather, Minard M. McVoy; and grandfather, Harley Sampson.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Maple Grove Cemetery with Bishop Terry McBeth officiating.   HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) has been entrusted with the arrangements.
