Salvatore “Tony” Trotta Jr.

Salvatore Anthony "Tony" Trotta Jr., 82, of Findlay, was called home on April 18, 2016 following a stay at Fox Run Manor. He was born November 2, 1933 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Salvatore A. and Josephine M. (Mormile) Trotta Sr. Tony married the love of his life, Elizabeth "Betty" (Feldhaus) Trotta, and they shared 59 loving years together. Tony worked for Carey Pre-Cast Concrete Company, and also American Windows and Siding. He enjoyed the Cincinnati Reds baseball season, Ohio State and Notre Dame Football, and spending time with his family. Tony is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth; children, Judy (Skip) Peterson, Peggy (Dennis) Turner, Karen Trotta, and Sharon Trotta; grandchildren, Shawn (Lisa) Theis, Stephanie (Chad) Anthony, and Allison (Noah) Westfall; 4 great-grandchildren, Bradley, Rachel, Ty, and Alexis. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Theresa Burbacher, and Julia D. Lack. Friends and family may visit on Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 1 - 3 p.m. and 5 - 7 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 22 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Downtown Church on West Main Cross St., Findlay, OH. Monsignor Michael Hohenbrink will celebrate the Mass. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Tony's name may be made to St. Michael The Archangel Parish.
