Sean D. Mccormick

Sean Daniel McCormick, 26, of Van Buren, lost his final battle with addiction on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at his residence. He was born on December 21, 1990 in Findlay to Patrick A. and Lori A. (Norris) McCormick. Sean graduated in 2009 from Van Buren High School where he was active in sports and worked at Northwest Pallet in Home Depot Warehouse in Van Buren as a forklift driver. He was an avid Green Bay Packers and Michigan fan. His best interest were in history and politics. Sean was an organ donor, and a friend of all animals. In addition to his parents, Patrick and Lori of Van Buren, Sean is survived by his sister, Colleen McCormick of Ann Arbor, Michigan. He is also survived by his grandmother, Carol McCormick of Findlay; several aunts and uncles; and numerous cousins. He leaves behind his canine friend, Shadow. Sean was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Ruth Norris; and grandfather, Michael McCormick. Friends and family may visit on Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. at the conclusion of visitation with Pastor David Clark officiating. Memorial contributions in Sean's name may be made to the family in c/o Hufford Family Funeral Home.
