Sharon E. Peavler

Sharon Elaine Peavler, 77, of McComb, passed away December 25, 2023, at her residence. Born in Toledo on October 29, 1946, she is the daughter of Lawrence and Vera (Grover) Baker Sr. Sharon married Samuel E. Peavler Sr. on March 2, 1965, and he survives.

After graduating from North Baltimore High School, Sharon attended Tiffin University, graduating with an associate degree. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her dog Sissy, and watching her soap operas.

Sharon is survived by her husband Samuel of 58 years; her children, Samuel E. Peavler Jr., and Scott E. (Chanda) Peavler; two grandchildren, Jessica E. Peavler, and Misty D. Peavler. In addition, she is also survived by her siblings, Clarence (Pam) Baker, Jim Baker, Dianne (Rich) McClellan, Kathy (Ben) Vanscooder, Candy (David) Greeno, Linda (Paul) Barfell, and Melissa (John) Mettler. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lawrence Baker Jr., John Baker, Clayton Baker Sr.; sisters, Darlene Drager, and Elizabeth Jane Baker.

The family is planning to have a Celebration of Life in the near future. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, 419-422-1500, has been entrusted with the arrangements. As a lifelong supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to St. Jude’s in Sharon’s memory.
