Shirley A. Peters

Shirley Peters, 81, of Findlay, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center. She was born on May 14, 1937 in Fresno, California to the late Glen and Nadine (Miller) Bolinger. Shirley married Blaine Peters on May 25, 1961 and they shared 57 years together. She worked in the health care and human resource industry for 38 years at Blanchard Valley Hospital. Shirley loved spending time with her family and many wonderful friends. Shirley is survived by her husband, Blaine: children, Candy Deitrick, Mitchell Peters, and Shawn (Richard) Irving; grandchildren, Kristy Post, Ryan Peters, Elliott Peters, Melissa Peterson, and Steven Irving; several beloved great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Tackitt; sister-in-law, Lenora Bolinger; nieces and nephews, Kelly Tackitt, Tracy France, Tony and Ted Bolinger; and several beloved great-nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gerald Bolinger; and nephew, Gerald Bolinger Jr. Friends and family may visit on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 1:00 - 3:00 and 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 with Pastor Bob Cochran officiating. Interment will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Shirley's name may be made to the Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
