Steffen R. Yarris

Steffen Robert Yarris, 31, of Findlay and formerly of Fostoria, passed away on April 2, 2016. He was born August 7, 1984 in Findlay to Donald S. and Mary Jane (Bulkowski) Yarris. Steffen graduated from St. Wendelin High School and later attended the University of Toledo and Columbus State Community College. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed football, wrestling, body-building, and was a five time state champion skeet shooter. Steffen was also a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns. In addition to his parents, Steffen is survived by stepmother, Janet K. (Watson) Yarris; aunts and uncles, Elizabeth (Betty) Yarris, Pamela Yarris, Charles (Barbara) Yarris, Richard (Julie) Bulkowski; cousins, Jeff, Chris, Tim and Abbey Yarris, Sarah Snider, Andy and Emily Bulkowski, Cynthia Rich; and great-aunt, Hazel Coppler-Rowles. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Frank and Rosemary Kovach, William and Elizabeth Yarris; and uncle, James R. Yarris. Friends and family may visit on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A service will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 12 P.M. at the funeral home with Father Nicholas Weibl officiating. Memorial contributions in Steffen's name may be made to Dry Haven, 217 W.
