Stephen J. Mangett

Stephen Joseph Mangett, 76, of Carey, passed away at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Monday, October 26, 2026. He was born March 13, 1950, in Findlay to the late Paul and Ann (Walton) Mangett.

Steve was a graduate of Carey High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He worked in the automotive industry and was a member of the Fostoria Coin Club.

Steve is survived by his siblings, Michael (Paula) Mangett, David (Linda) Mangett, Nancy Taylor, and Mary (Tom) Kromer; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Steve’s wishes, no services will be held. Burial will take place at Hickory Grove Cemetery at a later date. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500), is honored to have been entrusted with the care of Steve and his family.
