Susan Cramer Nichols, 82, died June 26, 2024, at Blanchard Valley Hospital surrounded by her family.
Born in Findlay on November 14, 1941, Sue was the daughter of the late Clyde and Martha Cramer. Sue was a 1960 graduate of Findlay High School. She married Robert Nichols, her husband of 63 years, on February 11, 1961, and he survives.
Sue loved to read and with her Altrusa Club helped start a lending library at 50 North. Her love of books also led her to work at Ben Franklin and Lincoln Schools as a librarian where she enjoyed sharing this love with children.
Surviving are her son, Scott (Jen) Nichols; her grandchildren, Nicole (Justin) Bryson, Kelsey (Brennan McMillen) Hartzell, and Nate Nichols, whom she dearly loved. She was also an amazing, great grandmother to Jack and Ellie Bryson. She is survived by her brother, Tom (Marsha) Cramer. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Hartzell (Rick Kloeppel); and her sister, Carole Molder.
A celebration of her life will take place on July 8, 2024, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Hufford Family Funeral Home, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500).
