Sylvia Gray

Sylvia Ann Gray, 87, of Findlay, passed away October 12, 2024, at The Manor at Greendale. She was born in Bellefontaine to Clarence W. and Alice L. (Hatcher) Whitman on August 9, 1937. Sylvia married Stephen D. Gray in 1980, and he preceded her in death in 2022. Sylvia was a graduate of Bellefontaine High School. She was strong in her Christian faith and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She loved listening to music and working on her crafts. Sylvia is survived by her two children, Renee (Steve) Daulton, and Penny Cummiskey, both of Findlay; three grandchildren, Nicole Trujillo, Lindsey Spangler, and Jesse Daulton; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by her brother, Roger Whitman of Independence, KY. In addition to her husband Stephen, she was preceded in death by her parents. Friends and family may visit from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay, (419)422-1500. Funeral service for Sylvia will be at the conclusion of visitation at 3 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating.
