Tamara Wilkes

Tamara Lee Wilkes, age 61, of Findlay passed away on December 12, 2023. She was born April 3, 1962, to Phillip and Lucy (Boyles) Benfield, Sr. On October 13, 2001, Tamara married James Wilkes.

Tamara was involved in the Lupus Foundation. She liked going on cruises with her family, reading cruise blogs and watching reruns on ROKU.

Those left behind to cherish Tamara's memory are her mother and stepfather, Lucy and James Dempsey; husband, James Wilkes; son, Joseph Wilkes; brother, Phillip Benfield, Jr; many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Ohio and North Carolina. In addition to her father, Tamara was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carl and Corine Boyles, Waits and Rachel Benfield; and many aunts and uncles.

Friends and family may visit Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, 419-422-1500. Tamara’s funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 21 at Trinity Baptist Church, 7839 Co. Rd. 236, Findlay, with Pastor Ben Jennings presiding.
