Thomas Truman Perkins 1930-2016

Thomas Truman Perkins, 85, of Findlay, passed away on January 6, 2016 at Brookdale Findlay. He was born June 10, 1930 to the late Truman E. and Helen J. (Metz) Perkins. He married Marjorie E. (Basinger) Perkins in 1959 and they shared 56 blessed years. Thomas enjoyed farming and was employed at Whirlpool with 27 years of service before retiring. He attended Van Buren United Methodist Church and was a member of the Van Buren Lion's Club. Thomas is survived by his wife; brothers, Joseph E. "Ed" (JoAnn) Perkins of Findlay and Ronald E. (Harlean) Perkins of Fremont. Visitation will be private. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500) with Pastor Charles J. Fuerstenau officiating. Burial will follow in Bechtel Cemetery, Van Buren. Memorial contributions in Thomas's name may be made to Van Buren United Methodist Church or to Bridge Home Health and Hospice.
