Timothy Bolin

Timothy J. Bolin, 69, of Fostoria, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2024 at his residence.

Born September 19, 1954, to James and Patricia (Campbell) Bolin, Tim graduated from Arcadia High School. He was a proud member of the United States Army. He married Sallie Poe on August 7, 2013. They were divorced, but remained very close.

Tim was a member of Connections Church, VFW in Findlay, Amvets in Fostoria, and a lifetime member of DAV in Findlay. He was an avid pool player, especially at Miss Cue in Findlay and Smokehouse in Fostoria. Tim was also a lifelong Cleveland Indians/Guardians fan, and enjoyed watching Ohio State, Cleveland Browns, and Sunday NASCAR.

Left behind to cherish Tim’s memory are his significant other, Sallie Poe-Bolin; stepchildren, Harmonie Poe and Markus Gossard; grandchildren, Brooklyn Blackburn, John Ritter, Shane Bays Jr.; five great-grandchildren; sister, Susan DeWald; nieces, Sara Roberts and Carrie DeWald; great nieces and nephews, Anderson Roberts, Jadalyne Jay, Gavin DeWald, and Emma DeWald; special friends, Sandy Branham and Liz Reinhart; and favorite pet, “Homer.”

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Mike Bolin.

Friends and family may visit on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500). There will be a funeral service following at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Klausing presiding. The Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad will perform full military rites at the conclusion of the service.
