Tom Brown, 76, a.k.a. "Uncle Quarters", of Fostoria, Ohio, passed away March 20, 2017 at his residence. He was born December 15, 1940 in North Baltimore, Ohio to the late Hylas and Clieniece (Bowman) Brown. Tom married the love of his life, Frances Ogg and she survives.
Tom loved old western movies, the Cleveland Browns, and the Buckeyes. He graduated from high school in Bowling Green and retired from Whirlpool after 30 years of service. Tom proudly served his country in the US Navy before being honorably discharged.
In addition to his loving wife, Frances, Tom is survived by his sister, Roberta K. Peterson of Findlay, Ohio; step-daughter, Sheryl (Mike) Kolhman of Port Clinton, Ohio; her children, and grandchildren. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom he loved as his own. Tom was preceded in death by his sisters, Louise Althaus, and Carole Campbell; his brothers, Jim, Jerry, and Frank Brown.
Friends and family may visit on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the conclusion of visitation with Pastor Jim Klausing officiating. Interment will follow in Knollcrest Cemetery with the Hancock County Veteran's Memorial Squad performing full military rites. Memorial contributions in Tom's name may be made to Open Arms, P.O.
