Tom L. Thomas

Tom L. Thomas, 89, of Findlay, passed away May 24, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center.

He was born November 13, 1935, in Findlay to Merritt and Leota (Haide) Thomas who preceded him in death.

Tom was a member of IBEW Local 8 for 43 years. He attended the Mt. Zion Church at Wayne, OH. On Aug 22, 1954, he married Nadine Moffitt, and she survives. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in 2024. He took great pride in his family and enjoyed attending their activities.

In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by his son, Gregory A. (Carol) Thomas; 6 grandchildren, Lynne Anne (Randy) Hayosh, Brad (Erin) Thomas, Todd (Shannon) Thomas, Ashley (Ryan) McKinnon, Gabe (Sara) Anderson, and Graham (Amanda) Anderson; and 11 great grandchildren.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael; daughter, Kathy Anderson; sister, Colleen Bish; and brother, Jerry (Virginia) Thomas.

Friends and family may visit from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Thursday, May 29, 2025, at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500). A funeral service for Tom will be held at 12 noon following visitation in the funeral home, with his son Gregory Thomas leading the service. Interment will follow in Bechtel Cemetery in Van Buren.
