Vaughn M. Wright

Vaughn M. Wright, 85, of Bloomdale, passed away unexpectedly on March 4, 2025, in the emergency room at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born in Sylvania, Ohio, on December 8, 1939, to Jack and Martha (Merritt) Wright. Vaughn was a sheet metal worker for Fostoria Plumbing and Heating for several years before retiring. He married Carol Sue McDonald Woodruff in 1983; she survives.

He is also survived by his children, Raymond Johnson of Knoxville, TN, Richard Johnson of Toledo, Linda Laborie and Deana Woodruff, both of Bloomdale. Vaughn was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Pam Johnson.

Vaughn was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish at any given time. As per Vaughn’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.
