Verlin E. Perkins, 82, of Tiffin, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020 at Tiffin Mercy Hospital. He was born on March 28, 1938 in Plankton, Ohio to the late Charlie and Lucille (Rankin) Perkins. On January 25, 1956 he married Nancy (Jordan) Perkins and she survives. Verlin worked 34 years at Atlas Crankshaft in Fostoria and retired in 1992. He enjoyed thirty years of boating on Lake Erie, and snowmobiling in Michigan. He enjoyed his motorcycles, hot rods, and T-buckets. Verlin and Nancy spent seven winters in Salome, and Quartzite, Arizona going on desert outings in and out of the gold mines.
Verlin is also survived by his children, Verlinda Allison, Charles (Lillie) Perkins, and Glen (Lori) Perkins; grandchildren, Jamie (Greg) Kipps, Zackory (Danille) Perkins, Kristina Allison, William Perkins and Verlin (Carrie) Perkins; great-grandchildren, Kendalynn Allison, Gage Kipps, Zoey Perkins, Braelynn Holler, and Draven Perkins. He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Ken; and a brother, Ronnie Perkins.
Friends and family may visit on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 3 - 4 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500).
