Vicki Ann Insley, 65, of Benton Ridge, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center with her loving family by her side. She was born in Toledo, Ohio as the only child to the late Roscoe D. and Virginia (Bishop) Treier on August 20, 1952. On March 1973, Vicki married her true love, James D. Insley, a marriage that would last 45 wonderful years.
Vicki graduated from Findlay High School and pursued her education career at The University of Findlay earning her Master's. She was a Sunday school and bible school teacher, past Boy Scout leader, a church choir member, and a Findlay Light Opera member with parts in different plays. Vicki loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing, knitting, crocheting, and canning produce from the garden.
Vicki is survived by her loving husband, James; sons, Scott D. Insley of Findlay, OH, James D. (Angee) Insley Jr. of Arlington, OH, Jason R. (Jean) Insley of Virginia Beach, VA, Brian D. (Shari) Insley of North Olmsted, OH, and Keith A. (Ajiah) Insley of Vanlue, OH; daughters, Kimberly A. (Scott) Kisseberth of Findlay, Kathryn M. (Chris) Murray of Marion, OH, Jennifer L. Insley (Ralph Hicks) of Carey, OH, Heather M. (Derek) Kuhlman of Russells Point, OH, and Chelsea L. Insley (Fiancé, Andrew Finkenbiner) of Vanlue; grandchildren, Avery, Drew, Grant, Grace, Morgan (Fiancé, Josh), Nathan, Brittany (Chris), Aedan, Kyra, David, Julia, Cassidy, Callie, Carson, Faith, Mason, Blake, Autumn, Ava, McKinley, Spencer, Teegan, Harper, Landree, Gwendolyn, Jaiden, Cameron, Gavin, Devin, Austin and Logan; great-grandchildren, Blaire and Abram. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family may visit on Monday, August 20, 2018 from 4-7 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A funeral service for Vicki will be held at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 800 S. Main St., Findlay, Ohio 45840, at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 21st with Pastor Dan Metzger officiating. Interment will follow in Benton Ridge Cemetery.
