Virginia L. Brenner Sims

Virginia Louise Brenner Sims, 59, of Findlay, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Blanchard Valley Hospital. She was born on December 17, 1958 in Findlay, Ohio to the late Harold J. and Olive M. (Ferguson) Brenner. She married Jerry R. Sims Sr. (Divorced) and he preceded her in death. Virginia worked as a cashier in retail for many years. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren. Virginia is survived by her only son, Jerry R. Sims Jr. (Maria) of Findlay; grandchildren, Jerry R. Sims III, Olivia M. Sims and Hayden M. Sims; and step-grandson, Kyle Peevler. She is also survived by a brother, Rick Brenner (Cindy) of St. Augustine, FL. Virginia was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Brenner-Althaus. Friends and family may visit on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. following visitation. Memorial contributions in Virginia's name may be made to The American Cancer Society.
