V. Lucille “Lucy” Elshoff, 89, of Findlay and formerly of North Baltimore, peacefully passed away September 7, 2024, at Bridge Hospice Care Center.
She was born February 12, 1935, in Toledo, Ohio, to Truman and Helen (McKenzie) Burch, Sr. On April 12, 1953, Lucy and Kenneth Elshoff were united in marriage. Through this union, they had four daughters.
Lucy enjoyed traveling, camping, and crocheting, but mostly she enjoyed being with family. Especially playing with all the little ones. She also enjoyed hosting family get-togethers.
Lucy is survived by her loving husband Kenneth; four daughters, Cindy (Jim) Scheff of McComb, Cathy (Rod) Kramp of Findlay, Kimberly (Mark) Gazarek of Findlay, and Tracy Elshoff (Chuck Bechtel) of Loveland, OH; nine beloved grandchildren, Holli (Brian) Siferd, Kelli Sterling, Joe (Chelsey) Sterling, Aaron (Ann) Scheff, Brian (Brooke) Gazarek, Brooke (Matt) Brim, Brandon (Katie) Gazarek, Cassi (Jimmy) Painter, and Justin Kramp; twenty great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Lucy was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ada (Ron) Merrill; brother, Truman Burch Jr., sister-in-law, Betty Dicke, and great-great-granddaughter, Charlie Slough.
A private family service took place at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500). Interment was held in New Maplewood Cemetery in North Baltimore.
