Vivian M (Sheffel) Lieb

Vivian Mae Lieb (Sheffel), age 88, of Arcadia, OH, passed away peacefully May 13, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at Bridge Hospice Care Center.

Vivian was born on February 18, 1933 in Findlay, OH to the late Reuben Sheffel and Myrtle Bowser. Vivian married Norman Duane Lieb, and on August 1, 1953 they would have celebrated their 68+ wedding anniversary. She was a loyal member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. A woman of God, she thoroughly enjoyed all of His creatures, great and small, and spent many hours watching the variety of birds in the backyard and deer frolicking in the field. Vivian also had a love of flowers and tended to them as she did with people…gently and lovingly.

Vivian is survived by her 5 children, Deb (Paul) Rickle, Mike (Mary) Lieb, Connie Lieb, Laurie (Steve) Linville, and Terry Lieb. In addition, she is survived by 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Pamela (Donald) Humphrey, Susan Hanley (Shane, deceased), Becky, Mary (Scot) Reutter, Bill Sheffel, Kristine (Andy) Dunn, and Jennie Newcomer; sisters-in-law, Margaret Gerken, Joyce Lieb, Janice (Paul) Dunn, Linda Doolittle, and Shirley (Mike) Byal. She is preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Rodabaugh; brother, Robert Sheffel; nephew, David Sheffel; brothers-in-law, R. F. Gerken, and Merle Lieb.

Friends and family may visit from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 17, 2021 at HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay (419-422-1500). A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1 p.m. following visitation in the funeral home with Pastor Walt Sheppard officiating. Interment will follow in Knollcrest Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Bridge Home Health and Hospice or to the Charity of the Donor’s choice
